We are delighted to offer a days workshop with well known jeweller Victoria Martin, who has run many sought after workshops at Walford Mill Craft Centre, Wimborne.  Come and make bugs and beasties, creepy crawlies created in all sizes and shapes with lots of different materials. We will be using plastercine, beads, wire, glitter and much more for some fantastic creations that creep crawl and fly!

Spend the day making moving objects with Karen Hansen.  When Karen ran her first workshop for Artsreach it was a huge hit. All the children loved it, (boys as well!!). We will be creating wooden toys or moving sculptures.  You will work with small roundwood and learn greenwood skills using shaving horses, draw knives, gauges, drills, and saws.  Learning about both fixed and flexible jointing you can construct your own figures, vehicles and interactive boxes of tricks. Her workshops sound dangerous, but Karen is very hot on the health and safety issues.
 
For both workshops please bring a packed lunch.
We have limited places on both days and we have always sold out very quickley in the past.  Please book early if you would like your child to come.
