WI Platinum Jubilee party
Our meeting opened with Jerusalem and the National Anthem with a toast to our gracious Queen.
Everyone brought along a plate of savoury food to share. The ladies also had to bring a jam jar filled with as many different items beginning with P. Katie Wilkinson won with 73 items (well she has a miniature dolls house!)
Also we did our version of the ‘Jubilee Bake Off’ and Anne Tate won making the actual Platinum Trifle Pudding.
The evening was rounded off with a ‘Royal Quiz’ won by Lesley Evans.
